The three seat designs were inspired by the form and proportion of three native trees - Ash, Elm and Hazel. The extended leg forms are developments of sculptural shapes which have evolved over several years - archetypes which I am drawn to. The original intention was to plant trees of the same species In close proximity to each seat. Unfortunately that wasn't possible.
