Oak Oke Ac are the modern, middle and old English names given to the extraordinary English oak tree. The oak is an ecosystem in itself, being home to the greatest range of creatures and plants of any of the trees growing on these islands. The oak has been revered for thousands of years and can be found celebrated in ancient folklore.

Made possible through section 106 funding, this seat is a gift to the growing community of the newly built Taunton Road estate in Bishops Lydeard, Oak Oke Ac is a symbol of hope and a reminder of our deep connection with the natural world.
