Regeneration & Return
JOURNEY . TRANSFORMATION . CYCLES . LAYERS . TIME . INDUSTRY . NATURE
From the Earth all our industry and effort is drawn, including the working of iron, coal and timber. Through usage and exploitation these materials are transformed and returned - part of a greater cycle. The route of the old railway line is re-kindled: The connecting line between Canterbury and Whitstable, linking the people as it did more than one hundred and fifty years ago. (The Crab & Winkle Way was the world's first passenger carrying railway. It was opened in 1830 and ran until 1956).
