Trinity Gardens Memorial Bench was runner up in the Rouse Kent Public Art Awards 2001:
"...I was very impressed with your bench which was shortlisted for this award. It is a highly successful collaboration with a strong and innovative use of materials, clean lines... I felt that the women who had commissioned the piece...had made an enlightened and courageous choice."
